Welcome to Punch Writers web site!
THE Punch Writers School is an online cum
home-study/correspondence
programme for everybody.
Students are assigned personal instructors who are
accomplished and award-winning writers
with vast
experience in the field of writing, journalism, drama,
genre writing, fiction and non-fiction. We shall
soon
have instructors in film writing and screenplay.
The enrolled student studies each module at his own
pace
and is assisted to write a book, essay or drama
from scratch to finish. Such editorial assistance
aside the course
is offered at very little additional
cost.
The modules depend on whether the student wants to
study playwriting
or fiction/non-fiction. Each module
is accompanied by an English grammar component and
exercises which will be
marked and recorded.
At the end of the course, the participant receives a
certificate of participation (First Class,
Second
Class Upper or Credit) depending on his proficiency as
adjudged by his instructor and confirmed by visiting
instructors.
Students' work would be published widely in the media eg,the newspapers,world wide web,magazines etc.
The
student is expected to be armed with all the
literary skills he needs to be a writer of books,
essays, children’s
books, educational books, plays,
lyrics. He would have mastered the rudiments of the
English language and how
he could manipulate the tools
of the language to create fiction or drama for profit
or as a hobby, or use his skills
to pass exams.
This course is for students of all institutions and
courses who want to improve upon their writing
and
language, authors, playwrights, editors and reporters,
publishers, proof readers and all those who want to
benefit
from the skills of writing.
